State of Transit

Randall Bryant was elected in 2025 as the youngest Chairman of the Board in the history of Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART). DART is the largest transportation agency in the State of Texas, providing an average of 163,000 daily passenger trips across 13 North Texas cities and operating with an annual budget of $1.8 billion. As Chairman, Randall is focused on strengthening regional partnerships, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the long-term financial sustainability of one of the nation’s most expansive multimodal transit systems.

Randall has nearly 15 years of experience building and leveraging strong political and governmental networks across public policy, electoral politics, and grassroots organizing to achieve strategic outcomes at the local, state, and federal levels.

In 2012, Randall founded Politics United Marketing (PUM). Under his leadership, PUM has become a leading government affairs and political consulting firm in North Texas, providing strategic counsel on policy and ordinance changes.

Randall currently serves as a member of the Democratic National Committee and is the Immediate Past Chair of the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce, as well as a former member of the Dallas Citizens Council and North Texas Commission.

Andy Eads is the County Judge of Denton County, a position he has held since 2019. A proud native Texan and fifth-generation resident of Denton County, Eads began his public service to the county as Precinct 4 County Commissioner, serving three terms before being elected County Judge.

A recognized leader in transportation throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and a past Chair of the Regional Transportation Council, Judge Eads has worked tirelessly to improve all modes of transportation across Denton County and the entire DFW region, focusing on enhancing connectivity and regional infrastructure.

Eads holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Howard Payne University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas. His local government career began with the Town of Addison, where he worked in the City Manager’s Office, Budget Office, and Human Resources, gaining invaluable experience that laid the foundation for his leadership in Denton County.

Outside his public service, Eads is actively involved in various civic and non-profit organizations. He resides in Flower Mound with his wife, Ginger, and their three children.

Jeff Davis has served on the Trinity Metro Board of Directors since 2013 and as its Chair since 2019. He is also Chairman of the Fort Worth Division of Republic Title and a founding member of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth. Jeff believes that transit is the answer to all things, including affordable housing, financially sustainable communities, placemaking to attract talent, economic development, and, of course, getting people where they need to go.

Born in Greenland to an Air Force family, Jeff is a graduate of Princeton University and earned his Juris Doctor from SMU. He practiced commercial law before opening his own law practice and title company in Fort Worth. At 27, he was elected to Fort Worth's first single-member district City Council, representing East Fort Worth for two terms from 1977 to 1981. He authored the city's current economic development policy and co-authored its ethics code.

TJ Gilmore, a Lewisville resident since 2001, is a dedicated public servant, husband to Tanya, and father to Bridget, Thomas, and William. TJ grew up in Yuma, Arizona, and is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree Social and Behavioral Sciences with a Business minor.

Serving on city council since 2011, TJ was elected Mayor of Lewisville in 2021 and re-elected in 2024. He actively represents the community across numerous civic boards and councils, including the Executive Board of the COG. TJ’s long-standing commitment to public service includes roles in transportation, economic development, public safety, native plant restoration and youth leadership, reflecting his passion for responsive and collaborative local government.
